- YOUR FATHER’S LOVE -

Your Father’s love tells you who you are.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God!” 1 John 3:1

I will be a Father to you and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:18 & 2 Samuel 7:14

“For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” Romans 8:15-16

Your Father’s love brings comfort.

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor [or Comforter] to be with you forever – the Spirit of Truth.” John 14:16

Your Father’s love fills the voids.

“A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing.” Psalm 68:5-6

Your Father’s love anticipates your needs and provides.

“Your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” Matthew 6:8

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” Matthew 6:26

“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.” Luke 12:32

Your Father’s Love is compassionate.

“The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love.” Psalm 103:8

Your Father is FOR YOU!

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31

Your Father Delights in You!!

“Never again will you be called “The Forsaken City”

or “The Desolate Land.”

Your new name will be “The City of God’s Delight”

and “The Bride of God,”

for the Lord delights in you

and will claim you as his bride.

Then God will rejoice over you

as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride." Isaiah 62:4-5

This Father’s Day,

revel in God’s perfect love and faithfulness for you! Blessings- Angel
